What is Label Printer by RoutiSync?

It is a cloud application for businesses that print product labels. You manage products and label templates in your browser, preview each label, and print to label printers in your outlets through the RoutiSync Print Agent.

Do I need to install any software?

Managing products, templates, outlets and staff only needs a web browser. To print, install the free RoutiSync Print Agent on one Windows PC at each outlet. The agent sends labels to the printer on that outlet’s network.

Which label printers are supported?

RoutiSync prints native ZPL to Zebra and ZPL-compatible thermal label printers that are connected to your network and reachable on port 9100. If you use a different printer, contact us and we will check it for you.

Do I need to open firewall ports or set up a VPN?

No. The Print Agent opens a secure outbound connection to RoutiSync over HTTPS, so no inbound ports, port forwarding, static IP or VPN are needed.

Can I print labels in English and Arabic?

Yes. The bilingual food label template prints product details in two languages, such as English and Arabic, on the same label.

Can I import my products from Excel?

Yes. Download the Excel sheet for your chosen template, fill in your products and upload it. You can also add and edit products one at a time.

Which label sizes can I use?

Common sizes such as 37.5 × 43.8 mm, 58 × 43 mm, 54 × 52 mm and 100 × 150 mm are built in, and you can set a custom size to match your label stock.

Can I manage more than one outlet?

Yes. One account can manage many outlets. Each outlet has its own printers, Print Agent, staff access and time zone.

How do employees print labels?

Administrators create employee accounts and give them access to their outlet. Employees sign in to a simple screen, choose a product, set the number of copies and print.

What happens if the internet connection drops?

Jobs already received by the Print Agent are stored on the PC and printed when the printer is ready. Sending new jobs needs an internet connection, and the agent reconnects automatically when it returns.

Is my data secure?

Yes. All traffic is encrypted, each business’s data is kept separate, passwords are stored as salted hashes, and the service is hosted on Amazon Web Services in India. See our Security page for details.

How do I get started?

Create a merchant account, verify your email address, add an outlet and your products, install the Print Agent at the outlet, pair it, add your printer and print your first label. Our Getting Started guide walks you through every step.

What is ZPL and why does it matter for label printing?

ZPL (Zebra Programming Language) is the native language of Zebra and many other thermal label printers. RoutiSync sends labels to the printer as native ZPL, which gives sharp text and barcodes and fast printing without installing printer drivers on every computer.

Can I print to a Zebra printer from the cloud?

Yes. You press Print in RoutiSync in your web browser, and the RoutiSync Print Agent at the outlet sends the label to your Zebra network printer over your local network.

Do I need separate label design software?

No. RoutiSync includes ready-made label templates for food and general products in common label sizes, so you can manage products and print labels without separate desktop label design software.

Is RoutiSync available in India, the UAE and other countries?

Yes. RoutiSync is a cloud service that works in any country with an internet connection. Each outlet has its own time zone, and labels can be printed in English and Arabic.

How much does it cost?

See our Pricing page for the available plans, or contact us for a quote that fits the number of outlets you run.
