Routisync.com Terms of Service

Version 2026-10-17 · Effective 17 October 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between Routisync.com, operating the Routisync.com service, with its registered address at Hyderabad, India ("Routisync.com", "we", "us") and the business that creates a Routisync.com account ("Customer", "you"). By ticking the acceptance box at signup, or by using the Service, you agree to these Terms, the Acceptable Use Policy and the Privacy Policy, which form part of these Terms.

In short: Routisync.com is a software tool for designing and printing labels. You decide what goes on your labels and you are fully responsible for their accuracy and legality in every country where your products are made, sold or shipped. We do not check label content.

1. Who may use Routisync.com

  1. The Service is for business use only. It is not offered to consumers. You must be a business, or a person acting for a business, and at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live, if higher).
  2. The person who accepts these Terms confirms that they are authorised to bind the Customer. If they are not, they are personally bound by these Terms.
  3. You may not use the Service if you are located in, organised in, or ordinarily resident in a country or region subject to comprehensive sanctions, or if you or your owners are on any government sanctions or restricted-party list (including those of India, the United Nations, the United States, the European Union and the United Kingdom).

2. Definitions

3. Your account

  1. Accurate information. You must give true, complete and current information at signup (including business name, registration or trade licence number, contact person, email address and mobile number) and keep it updated. Providing false or misleading information, or registering in another business's name without authority, is a material breach.
  2. Verification. We verify email addresses before an account is activated. We may at any time ask for further information or documents to confirm your identity, your business or your authority, and we may refuse, restrict, suspend or close an account if verification is not completed to our reasonable satisfaction.
  3. Security. You are responsible for keeping passwords and devices secure, for choosing who your Authorised Users are, for removing access when people leave, and for everything done through your account. Tell us immediately at support@routisync.com if you suspect unauthorised use.
  4. Authorised Users. You are responsible for your Authorised Users' compliance with these Terms. When you create an employee account, you confirm that you are entitled to give us that person's details and that you have informed them as required by law. Passwords you set for others must be shared securely and changed by the user.
  5. One business may hold more than one account only with our consent. Accounts may not be sold or transferred.

4. The Service

  1. Subject to these Terms and any applicable fees, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right during your subscription to use the Service for your internal business purposes.
  2. The Service works with printers, computers, networks, operating systems and other equipment that you provide and control. We are not responsible for their availability, configuration, calibration, consumables (labels, ribbons, ink) or print quality.
  3. We may change, improve or discontinue features. If we discontinue the Service as a whole we will give reasonable advance notice where practicable.
  4. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or available at any particular time. Planned maintenance, internet failures and third-party outages can interrupt the Service. You must keep a backup method of labelling for business-critical or safety-critical operations.
  5. Label previews, templates, barcode generation, date calculations and any suggested values are tools only. You must check every label before it is used.

5. Your responsibility for labels and products

  1. You are solely responsible for all Label Content and for every label printed using your account, including its accuracy, completeness, legibility, size, placement and compliance with law.
  2. This includes, without limitation, laws and standards on: product names and descriptions; ingredients and allergens; nutrition information; net quantity and units of measurement; price and maximum retail price; date of manufacture, packing, "use by", "best before" and expiry dates; batch and lot numbers; country of origin; manufacturer, packer, importer and licence details; storage and usage instructions; warnings; barcodes and GS1 numbering; and language requirements. Examples include, where they apply to you, the Legal Metrology (Packaged Commodities) Rules and the Food Safety and Standards (Labelling and Display) Regulations in India, Regulation (EU) No 1169/2011 in the European Union, and US FDA and USDA labelling rules – but you must identify and comply with every law that applies to your products in every market.
  3. You must not use the Service to create or print any label that is false, misleading or deceptive, including any label that changes, hides or extends an expiry or "use by" date, misstates a price, origin, quantity or composition, or imitates another business's brand, certification, regulatory mark or licence number.
  4. Regulated products. If you label food, medicines, medical devices, cosmetics, chemicals, hazardous goods, tobacco, alcohol, cannabis or other regulated products, you are responsible for meeting all regulatory requirements. The Service is not a regulatory compliance, quality management, traceability or recall system and must not be relied on as one.
  5. Routisync.com does not review, approve, verify or monitor Label Content or your products, and has no duty to do so. Any feature that warns about or blocks certain values (for example a past expiry date) is a convenience and does not transfer responsibility to us.
  6. You are responsible for product safety, product liability, recalls and all claims by your customers, consumers and authorities relating to your products and labels.

6. Acceptable use

You must follow the Acceptable Use Policy. We may investigate suspected breaches, preserve relevant records and, where required or permitted by law, report them and cooperate with law-enforcement and regulatory authorities.

7. Customer Data and privacy

  1. Ownership. You keep all rights in Customer Data. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, store, copy, transmit, render and process Customer Data only as needed to provide, secure, support and improve the Service, to comply with law, and as described in the Privacy Policy.
  2. Your warranties. You confirm that you have all rights, licences and consents needed for Customer Data (including logos, images, trademarks and personal data) and that our processing of it as permitted by these Terms will not infringe anyone's rights or break any law.
  3. Personal data. Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy. For personal data of your employees and other individuals that you enter into the Service, you decide why it is processed and we process it on your behalf and on your instructions as set out in these Terms. Where the law (for example the GDPR or UK GDPR) requires a written data processing agreement, our standard data processing terms, available on request at support@routisync.com, form part of these Terms.
  4. Sub-processors and transfers. We use service providers, including cloud hosting (Amazon Web Services), email delivery and label-rendering services, which may process data in India and other countries. We take reasonable steps to ensure appropriate safeguards.
  5. Security. We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect Customer Data. No system is completely secure, and you are responsible for security on your own devices, networks and printers, and for keeping your own backups of important data.
  6. Logs. We keep records of logins, account changes and print jobs (including who printed what, when, where and the label content sent to the printer) for security, support, fraud prevention, dispute resolution and legal compliance.
  7. Aggregated data. We may use anonymised and aggregated information that does not identify you or any individual to operate and improve the Service.

8. Fees

  1. Fees, if any, are as shown in the Service, an order form or an invoice. Unless stated otherwise, fees are exclusive of taxes, which you will pay (other than taxes on our income).
  2. We may change fees for future billing periods with at least 30 days' notice. Late payment may lead to suspension.
  3. Any free, trial, pilot or beta service is provided "as is", may be changed or ended at any time and, to the extent permitted by law, carries no liability for us.

9. Intellectual property

  1. We and our licensors own the Service, including its software, design, templates, documentation and trademarks. Except for the rights expressly granted in these Terms, no rights are granted to you.
  2. You must not copy, modify, translate, create derivative works of, decompile, reverse engineer, resell, sublicense or provide the Service to third parties, or use it to build a competing product, except where the law expressly permits it despite this restriction.
  3. If you send us suggestions or feedback, we may use them without restriction or payment.
  4. If you believe content in the Service infringes your rights, write to support@routisync.com with enough detail for us to identify and assess it.

10. Third-party products

The Service works with third-party printers, operating systems, browsers, networks and services. Their use is governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for them.

11. Suspension and termination

  1. You may stop using the Service and ask us to close your account at any time by writing to support@routisync.com.
  2. We may suspend or restrict all or part of your access immediately, without prior notice where reasonable, if: you breach these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy; information you provided is false or cannot be verified; we reasonably suspect fraud, misuse, a security risk or unlawful activity; fees are overdue; or a law, court or authority requires it.
  3. We may terminate these Terms for convenience with 30 days' notice, or immediately for a material breach that is not, or cannot be, remedied.
  4. After closure we will make reasonable efforts, on request made within 30 days, to provide an export of your product data. After that period we may delete Customer Data, except for records we must or may keep for legal, security, tax, audit or dispute purposes.
  5. Sections 5, 7, 9, 12, 13, 14, 15, 17 and 18, and any accrued payment obligations, survive termination.

12. Confidentiality

Each party will keep the other's non-public business information confidential, use it only for the purposes of these Terms and protect it with reasonable care. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, SATISFACTORY QUALITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, NON-INFRINGEMENT AND UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NEITHER PARTY WILL BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFIT, REVENUE, BUSINESS, GOODWILL, PRODUCTS OR DATA, OR FOR THE COST OF PRODUCT RECALLS, RELABELLING OR SUBSTITUTE SERVICES, HOWEVER CAUSED.

  3. These limits do not apply to your payment obligations, your indemnity obligations, your breach of Sections 5, 6 or 9, or liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law (for example for fraud, or death or personal injury caused by negligence where such a limit is not permitted).

15. Indemnity

You will defend, indemnify and hold harmless Routisync.com and its owners, officers, employees and contractors from and against all claims, demands, penalties, fines, losses, damages, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) Label Content or labels printed using your account; (b) your products, including their safety, labelling, sale, recall or liability; (c) Customer Data; (d) your or your Authorised Users' breach of these Terms, the Acceptable Use Policy or any law; or (e) any claim that Customer Data or Label Content infringes third-party rights. We will notify you of the claim, give you reasonable cooperation at your cost and allow you to control the defence, except that you may not settle a claim that admits fault by us or imposes obligations on us without our written consent.

16. Compliance with laws

  1. Each party will comply with laws that apply to it, including anti-bribery and anti-corruption laws.
  2. You must comply with export control and sanctions laws and must not use, export or allow access to the Service in breach of them.
  3. Where these Terms are subject to mandatory local law that gives you rights that cannot be excluded, those rights are not affected.

17. Governing law and disputes

  1. These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or the Service (including non-contractual disputes) are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.
  2. The parties will first try in good faith to resolve any dispute by written notice and discussion for 30 days.
  3. Any dispute not so resolved will be finally resolved by arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 by a sole arbitrator appointed by agreement or, failing agreement, as provided by that Act. The seat and venue of arbitration will be Hyderabad, India, and the language will be English. Subject to this, the courts at Hyderabad, India have exclusive jurisdiction, including for interim relief.

18. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Each version is dated, and we record which version each account accepted. For material changes we will give at least 15 days' notice by email or in the Service, unless the change is required by law or addresses a security or misuse issue.
